To produce this healthy whole food powder, ripe mesquite pods are hand-picked, rinsed thoroughly and natural shade dried. A special grinder is used to crush and pulverize both, the pod and the seeds to becoming an ultra-fine powder. Mesquite Powder is high in calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and zinc and is rich in the amino acid lysine.
Pleasant sweet, nutty, molasses-like flavor with a hint of caramel and chocolate.
